Empty…

Empty is often seen as such a negative word.

Empty words.
Empty hands.
Empty hearts.

However, nothing can become full without first being empty.

In Mathew 5:6, Jesus said:

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.”

My desire today is to empty myself of me and to be filled with the righteousness of God.

What do you want to be full of today?

(FYI–My arms were not empty as I wrote this.  I typed the majority of this post one-handed! :) )

“Nothing can be full without first being empty.” How true and honest. I love that you were able to type such meaningful words, while your hands were full. :) Thanks for sharing. Quilted blessings, Nita

They are going fairly well… Writing this was one of them! :) My Bible study isn’t happening as much as I would like. My daughter likes to be involved in everything I’m doing right now, which causes a lot of distraction. lol

Beautiful, simple post. The last time I wrote one-handed was when I was talking on the phone with a friend and still trying to write something on the computer at the same time ;) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather ;)
